This client had just moved up from Texas to Whitinsville, MA. They knew that one of the first things to do after purchasing their new home was to remodel the kitchen. Even though the existing cabinets were not that old, the overall feeling in the kitchen was just way too dark.
To give the kitchen a brighter feel, we installed "Dove White" Brighton cabinets along the perimeter of the layout. Adding some glass doors near the windows also helped to open up the space by expanding the feeling of the windows.
The client also wanted a Farmhouse sink to go along with the feeling of her new home, so the Blanco white porcelain sink was a perfect fit. We kept the same overall light feeling by adding a Quartz "Pental Minuet" countertop.
For a bit of contrast, a darker finish was chosen for the island along with a coordinating floor tile color which helps to pull the whole thing together.
